Thinking of visiting St. John's?

We welcome all people! You’re welcome to worship with us and engage with our community if you’ve attended church most of your life, never attended church, don’t know what you believe, or feel like you are questioning everything. You’re welcome here if you’re divorced, single, never married, happily married, or unhappily married.  You’re welcome here if you’re a loner or part of the crowd. You’re welcome here whether you’re a great singer or can barely carry a tune in a bucket. You’re welcome here if you’re in a good mood or not. Whether you are excited to come to church or not. Whether you read the Bible every day or you’ve never cracked the binding. No matter if you’re rich or poor, terminally ill or incredibly healthy, fat, 5 months old or ninety-five years old. You are welcome here.

“St. John’s -- we hope to be the place where people come together to listen, learn, share, care, make friends, and grow in faith and love towards others.  We are one in Christ…let us be one with each other.”

"This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you."

John 15:12

WELCOMING YOU HOME

St. John’s Mahoning is a congregation in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). We’re friendly, fun and faithful to God’s call to spread the good news and love of Jesus Christ. We truly seek to live out our Core Purpose Statement: “A family of friends ALIVE with God’s Love - you’re home!”
